No Luck for Current Indy Passengers

The safety of the ship, passengers and crew are the Number 1 responsibility of the captain, and will always take precedence over any concerns about schedule, ports etc.

I was on the Radiance last June when we hit a nasty storm in the Gulf of Alaska. We ended up having to detour and missed out on seeing the Hubbard Glacier.

I just decided to marinate in the hot tub and enjoy several adult beverages....:D

Grandeur hit it in 2005. 17 mph winds and 3 mph current. Put a non ship threatening gash in the hull above the waterline.

Though life for Grandeur. Did it not also have a major fire in aft section some time back?

EDIT: Looked it up:

It MAY depend on whether you debark on Monday or Saturday. On Saturday, Oasis is in port and uses the new terminal while Indy has to use the old one.

This is just a guess.

Oops,:o it was in November and we debarked on Thanksgiving Day. However it was Pier 25/24. Edited by FLACRUISER99

Yup, and we were booked on her for the next sailing. She didn't come back to NOLA until 3 days into the week. Hated having to cancel.
