RSF Cruiser Posted February 3, 2016 #1 Share Posted February 3, 2016 Yesterday, I received a check from Princess. All it said was our name, Crown Princess, booking number, and sail date. The amount was not the same as what I was expecting for our refundable on board credit. After two calls to Princess, I was told the money was a refund since they "re-fared" our cruise. I'm guessing it's because we were supposed to go to Catalina and Ensenada, but because of weather, we only went to San Diego. While we were on board, they gave us a $2.17 per person credit for port charges. Does Princess typically re-fare a cruise when the ship stops at fewer ports? They really should have put a note in the envelope explaining what the check was for - that would have been some positive PR for them.
