Anthem Of The Seas, a real world stability test

Would be interesting to learn if the NTSB will use any data from the black box (there must be one!!) of Anthem to learn more about the behavior of those ships in actual/real events and not digital simulation. With 2 or 3 GPS loggers, would could do a complete analysis of the events.

Everyone must learn from this - ship designer - engineers - and passengers...

From what I've read here, especially from the experts, it appears the ship designers did a superb job on Anthem.

All cruise ships record there voyages electronically on board . There is a black box (actually Orange ) that releases if the ship sinks or rolls over.

Interesting article, thanks for posting. Intuitively, as a non-expert, at some point the results speak for themselves... nobody was seriously hurt and the ship sustained only minor damage. It is reassuring to read it coming from someone with the appropriate technical background.

Probably the most objective article I have read yet about the Anthem incident. I am sure more will follow. It would be interesting to eventually hear the results of an official inquiry, what the data recorder showed and the lessons to be learned. Thanks for the link.
