On Holland America web site it says this promotion will end soon.

 

Does someone know what the date is that it will end?

 

Wondering what their next promotion or special pricing will be.

Seems to me it's at the end of the month. For the cruises I looked at they just increased the price of an oceanview to match the balcony so I didn't find the pricing to be any deal.

We booked a cruise last week. Our date for 2017 on the list and tried to get the shipboard credit. Our TA called and was told it was only for 2016 so she called a supervisor -- still no go.

Curious if any one else tried to get the perks offered for 2017 cruises listed on HAL's site?

I did but that was when the promo came out in Dec/15. We re-fared our cruise as the price dropped (and they were about to the update the CAD pricing the following day). We gave up the Explore4 benefits. Our cruise is in the Caribbean in Feb/17.

My TA tried to get the OBC on a January 2017 cruise we had booked, but was told it didn't apply for that particular cruise. Still believed I received a good deal because HAL raised the rate within a month. They sure do go up & down & this deal & that deal a lot it seems.

We booked two cruises for 2017 while on our cruise in January. We got the verandah promo as well as double OBC for our FCD that we had

It is not a Caribbean cruise. It for Alaska and our date is in the listing.

If you click terms and conditions, it shows the offer ends on 2/29/16. It states it's applicable on "select 2016 and 2017 departures"

 

I had posted a question about SBP packages and luckily a helpful CC-er directed me to the View and Veranda sale. I had placed a deposit last month for our July Med sailing and our group of 50 were able to get the OBC added to our bookings.

 

Yay!

 

I still don't quite understand how the upgrade part of the deal works, though. If anyone can shed a light on how the $1000 upgrade is applied. We have a V room now.

I checked the "promo sale" price and it's $974 more than the price when we booked a couple of months ago. Doesn't include $300 lbs we received.

I also tried to get the OBC for our Feb. 2017 cruise and although it was listed under the promotion I was told that cruise didn't qualify. My PCC told me to keep watching for possible new promotions but the trip looks like it's selling pretty well so I don't see any great deals coming. As always, I will keep checking every day. You never know...I could get lucky!!

I tried to get the OBC for my March 2017 sailing and was told it didn't apply. I do have the excursion discount but the PCC admits that may not happen. Not really sure how I only get part of the promotion. Somewhat frustrating.
