I hope Cunard keep visiting Istanbul. It is such an amazing city!

I still see Istanbul on some of the itineraries starting in July on Queen Victoria.

Some have pulled out but many have not yet. I think it will depend on ongoing circumstances.

I phoned Cunard a short while ago to ask whether they would be changing itinerary for Istanbul and was advised that they would not be at the moment but would review if necessary. I'm reluctant to book and then find I don't like the changed itinerary if that happened. I shall wait and see what happens.

There is no guarantee--EVER--- on any cruise that any given port will actually happen. Bad weather--- Political unrest----illness outbreak---

all these unforeseen events impact if the ship makes its scheduled ports or not. Impossible for CUNARD or any line to GUARANTEE that your favorite port will Happen For Sure. Happy travelling !!

We're booked on a July cruise that has 2days in Istanbul (QV). Do the cruise lines follow Foreign Office advice or are they even more risk adverse and may change/cancel anyway?
