What is the best way to get to a beach without paying for a shore excursion?

Make a reservation online as many beach clubs only allow a certain number to enter per day and if they are full you are SOL. Taxis typically cost $17 each way.

We have gone to an all-inclusive brach resort called Nachi Cocom several times, and I highly recommend it.

They'll be so many taxi's waiting to take you somewhere. No problem finding one!

Do some research here or elsewhere as to what beach meets your

needs . Then take taxi .

No kids ? Then you can't go wrong with Nacci Cocum @ $55p/p

limit to 100 guests , must book early . $15 taxi each way I recall.

Check Cozumel here in the ports section and look for a beach. The national park, Chankanaub has a big beach, a swim with the dolphins, a seal show, restaurants, etc., etc. They do charge to get in, haven't been there in a while so not sure how much now. Google the park and the cost is probably there. It is worth the $$$ to get in and is no where the cost of a tour.

We tried Playa Uvas last time we visited. Very nice snorkeling and fantastic service. Reserved online. Worked nice to take taxi to and from.

That is a nice beach. Royal uses it on one of their snorkeling excursions.
