Ooh Laurie. Once you hit Diamond that's the perfect time to try Celebrity as you would pop in at the Elite level. We never did a Royal until we were Elite on Celebrity, so I've never been less than Diamond. We've found we like Celebrity better for two reasons, no smoking in the casino (or anywhere inside) & so few kids. The Equinox is now stationed in FLL year round now, great ship & does 7-10 night cruises. You might look at her for your March/April cruise.

Monsoon season started yesterday for us (2 storms in afternoon, first one 3" of rain & second 2" of rain. In under 15 minutes. Most of it runs off, but we've just passed a bill that we can have a rainwater barrel! Other than that we've been brutally hot (not as bad as AZ, but I don't want to see my ac bill this month!).

My Athleta suits should be here on the 13th! Melody

I just tried to research two cruises on RCI and I could get nowhere even on Gary's tablet . The one that I did research the old price is now a non refundable and the refundable adds a lot of money to the cruise . I am just going to wait it out . I am also looking at NCL . I have cruised on them a lot but not lately . They have a great carribean cruise going from Tampa or maybe we may just do a land trip .Laurie , since you will be diamond doesn't Celebrity offer matching status ?

Not sure if I told you all. We booked Windwood Snorkel on Bonaire. 5 hr excursion $65 pp. rated very high on Trip Advisor. I was looking at some new travel fins & happened to ask the guy at the scuba shop (I know, in Colorado) which island of ABCs was best Snorkel & he said. No question, Bonaire & try to get on Windwood. Now I'm really excited!

Sally, I tried Karin's on at the pool yesterday & it's fabulous ! I tripped to the bottom of the pool & sat there for a couple of minutes (I did tell the lifeguard that I was going to do it). NO water in my face at all. The top seals when you're underwater. Les & I both ordered them today (now that we figured what size we needed, I take a small & Les takes a medium). Very comfortable & nothing in your mouth. Breathe normally when snorkeling. Les's has a GO PRO attachment, so I guess I'll have to get one of those too for him [emoji23][emoji23]. Highly recommend it. Either Triboard or Head brand. Melody

That was supposed to say so cute, not do cute! I have big fingers, and a little phone.

My swimsuits came today. The aqua one (antillies blue) is just perfect. The top is the Tara style, and gives me good coverage. I also like halters because the v works good for me. The bottoms are a little big, but not where it is really noticeable. I'm going to keep them rather than exchange them for two reasons. 1) they go up a bit further, so my tummy is completely covered, and 2) you never know how much the size difference is with a small. It is the shirred full tide bottom.

The other swimsuit was in a color called sunset glo, a peachy color. The bottoms fit absolutely perfect. The top is too small. As in, "I can't breath" too small. I'm going to see if I can exchange it for a size up. The top is Shirrendipity, and the bottoms are the shirred band bottom.

I noticed they recommend you call to exchange to get the sales price, but with my hearing loss, that can be a pain. I sent an email and I'll see what they say. If need be, I can use relay and call them. Also, I didn't get the usual return label? I'm not sure why. I asked about that too.

I may wait and see what the olive one piece is like, but I really love these two from Athleta. If I were to only keep one of the Athleta suits, it would be really hard for me to pick. I think that with a size up, the sunset glo suit will be a perfect fit, and it's kind of earthy because it isn't bright. On the other hand, the antilles blue set is beautiful too. I would call it aqua, but at times it picks up a little teal like, in that I see green undertones. It's not all blue.

I was just checking on my Soma order. Unfortunately, I didn't notice this because I ordered another item along with the bathing suit, the suit hasn't shipped. It's listed as back ordered, without a date. I get the feeling it may be permanently out of stock. That would be sad.

At least I went ahead with the Athleta order then, you know? I almost didn't.

I'm really excited about this next cruise because I'm looking forward to the snorkeling! Windwood in Bonaire , Calabasa catamaran in Barbados, Pitons in St Lucia, Cos Abo in Curaçao. I'm totally jazzed!

Laurie glad most of the suits work. Hope you can get the larger top, that's s pretty color

Sally, we swam with sharks (unintentionally) in Martha's Vineyard (where Jaws was filmed) in the 70s. Too stupid to know better [emoji849]. Melody

Guess what? I saw a dress on sale for a super low price at New York and Company online a few days ago. It was only $16.00. I then saw another item I liked on clearance. Since I had a $20.00 reward to use with no restrictions, I placed the order. I usually avoid having to pay shipping, but with $20.00 off, I was only spending a small amount so it was worth it.

Well, the clearance item I ordered was out of stock. So the dress came in today and I love it. And it cost me less than $5.00 because they still applied the coupon. :D:D:D

I'll try to get a picture later, but it is a nice gold color. It looked earth to me in my room, but the lighting in there is so bad. I will have to check it in better lighting. If it doesn't turn out to be earth, it would probably be a soft fire color, I think. I haven't researched the fire categories that much yet.

I've never ordered from Land's End before, but I've looked a number of times. For those of you who have shopped there, do you like it? Now that I'm home on my desktop computer, I'm still thinking fire, but it isn't true fire...maybe soft fire? Here I go again. I really have to look these up! But I think it would be on the bright side for me and it would look great on my older daughter, who is fire.

I shop Land End but not as much as I used to . The quality of their tops is really down . I do like their pants because they hem them and I still buy things for Gary there . I also buy my gym bathing suits either there or on ebay . I hate to spend a lot of money on suits that will be destroyed by chlorine.

We are in the process of having our house painted and the painters I picked are not great . They painted the garage doors shut . They stuffed a rag into the air conditioning drain and it turned off the air conditioning so I had to have service since it is so hot in Florida . I am not happy with these guys and will be glad when they are gone and they were not cheap ..

Thanks, Ladies, for the quick replies. Melody, I thought the background was EARTH and the print FIRE too! I always need to size up their swimsuit material items, Sally. I had a few minutes at work yesterday morning and was happy to see they were offering 30% off sale prices, but I got hugely busy after lunch until the end of the day and missed the sale. Bummer. I've left everything in my cart waiting to see what tomorrow offers. I don't really need anything, but this would have been a good time to catch an extra swim bottom or top to mix and match others that I have. I was planning to use the cover-ups as dresses (Maybe) since the swimsuit material would be super easy to pack with no wrinkles.

Laurie, great dress and great bargain hunting!

I think the quality of nearly everything has gone down over the past few years. It's so disappointing. I still shop LLBean, but my last order including a couple of items that seemed thinner. I need to read the descriptions closer. I'm not a fan of slub. For me, it wears and lasts just as the name implies. I don't want to appear as a slub and I don't want my clothes to look slubby, so why should I think I can purchase slub and expect a different outcome? LOL I've been introduced to Boden recently and like what I see. Of course, I only purchase sales.

So funny on the comment about slub fabric! It's like those super thin tees they refer to as tissue. I mean, really...

Good news: they did still have that olive swimsuit! It's gorgeous!

Bad news: it's too big, and that is the one and only size they had.

Now, do I buy it in ocean? That's a lot like the new tankini color, but deeper. I really don't look at it like having too many things the same. The styles are completely different, and the color is different, but not a lot, necessarily. Here is a link to both for comparison:

By the way, that gold dress will be my last dress addition for the cruise. Next up, I'm planning daytime wear. That is easy, in that I have some great basic skorts and shorts, and nice tops for sea days and basic tops for when I'm running around at port. Then I can just accessorize!

Ah, I need to accessorize that dress. I want to keep it simple, and I know I have great things to choose from already. I'm a bit of a jewelry freak, I guess. I have one of those big jewelry armoires, and it's filled. Every so often, I take out my necklaces and reorganize by color/style. The fun thing is, I wear all of them. Granted, some only get worn once in a while, but I pretty much wear jewelry every single day. No waste, and it's costume jewelry, so not expensive.

We have our next cruise picked out. I'm very unhappy with the non refundable deposit, so I will have to see if my future cruises will remain with Royal. In the meantime, the next cruise is the beginning of April 2018 on Freedom, out of Fort Lauderdale. It's 6 days and goes to Grand Cayman, Cozumel and Puerta Costa Maya. The last port is totally new for me so if you've been there, let me know about it!

Laurie, I have that halter tankini in the turquoise color, came today & it's perfect! The olive is nice, but I really love the tankini

Chicos has a 4hr 40% off sale going on now. I bought a bracelet, 3 separate bracelets that are all different stones, can wear together or separately, can't wait for it to come!

We bought our full face masks today at Dicks sporting goods. We're really thinking about another paddleboard too. They have a neon green that's calling my name [emoji6]
