Purses in San Juan

DW and I will be in San Juan in May on the Carnival Glory. are there any good outlet type stores to buy purses? (Coach, Dooney & Burke, Michael Khors)

There is a Coach Outlet store at 150 Calle Cristo.

Dooney and Bourke is across the street from Coach. :)

Both are nice stores and sometimes I've gotten good buys; sometimes not.

There is a beautiful Ralph Lauren 'Outlet' store across the street from where the ships dock in Old San Juan. I believe they sell some purses.

Have a good idea what the prices are by going to similar outlet stores where you live. Often the prices are not as good as you think.

Sent an e-mail to D&B and they said they no longer have a store in San Juan.

Often with purses and clothing, it is a matter of availability and not necessarily price to the exact dollar as one would price a particular model watch. Sometimes we see a purse we never saw before so to say know your prices really is not practical in this thread, IMO

 

Some of the merchandise at Coach Outlets is made for the Coach Outlets. That does not mean it isn't Coach and does not mean it is not made well.

Wow, I'm sorry to hear that. Burberry also had a great store in San Juan but that also closed. Seems to be another sign of the severe financial problems Puerto Rico is currently suffering.

 

Sad. I love San Juan.
