stickey_mouse Posted February 26, 2016 #1 Share Posted February 26, 2016 Looking forward to our upcoming cruise on the Noordam. I'm especially excited about all the nooks and crannies that HAL ships seem to have. I'm planning on bringing a couple of decks of cards for us to play with. Out of curiosity, where do people tend to play cards? Are there other games (board, card, or otherwise) on the ship that are available?
Krazy Kruizers Posted February 26, 2016 #2 Share Posted February 26, 2016 The Explorations Café is also the library and the place where you can check out games -- many of them have pieces missing. People play cards in the Hudson Room, Half Moon room when there aren't any events going on there. They also play cards on the tables in the library, in the Lido -- just about anywhere people can find a table.
dakrewser Posted February 26, 2016 #3 Share Posted February 26, 2016 We've always found the Ocean Bar and the Atrium area around the front desk to offer the best combination of a place to play cards and people-watch at the same time.

Unfortunately, people DO play cards in the Lido, even when it's a crowded meal time and people are looking for a place to sit and eat. It is very inconsiderate to fellow passengers when there are so many other places people could play cards. JMHO.

And there is nothing anyone can do about it.
