Artemis908 Posted May 26, 2016 #726 Share Posted May 26, 2016 But if you are in the Star Class doesn't the Genie escort you to you cabin when you check in at your designated time. I am a lowly sky class :P If we decide to go to Windjammers for lunch before getting our sea passes I am wondering if they will even have the suite section open or if it'll be every man for himself. On our last Anthem cruise when we checked in (we were only in a balcony cabin) we were told that out Set-Sail pass was to be used temporarily until we were able to get to our cabins & get the cards - I would think they would show "Suite". Rare Tom-n-Cheryl Posted May 29, 2016 Author #728 Share Posted May 29, 2016 Tom are you in the OLS or the GLS? I'd like your feedback. If you are starboard side you might have Marva as your steward. We have had here a few times over the years and she is right up there with Matt's Jesus. If it is Marva, tell her that Andrew, Lisa and Owen from Canada say hello. You might just surprise her.... YEP -- she was surprised !! :D Tom

Rare Tom-n-Cheryl Posted May 29, 2016 Author #730 Share Posted May 29, 2016 That's great that you surprised her! Enjoy your week. Will do - THANKS! After greeting her and shaking her hand I noticed that she was having difficulty swallowing. She excused herself and indicated that she had a sore throat. The second she left, it was time for a good hand washing !! Knowing that she's sick... and picturing her touching all sorts of things in our cabin when she cleans up, my awareness will be heightened and my fingers crossed !! Rare Tom-n-Cheryl Posted May 29, 2016 Author #731 Share Posted May 29, 2016 I had seen several people asking about whether certain things are included with the specialty dining and I was curious myself so I asked our genie, Smitha. This is the response I received today. "I would like to confirm that 150 Central Park is included as well as the Wine Pairing. So is Johnny Rockets, Cups & Scoops and Starbucks. I will be more than happy to bring your coffee from Starbucks every morning to your room as per your wish." I am very surprised that Starbucks is included! I only asked on a whim because my daughter loves Starbucks but I didn't think it would be included. Lisa Apparently change will be the constant. I had booked all our dinners ahead of time (paying, with the expectation of getting credit once onboard), along with two nights of wine pairing. A short while ago Francesco, our Genie, indicated that the meal is covered under the Star benefits, but that we'd be responsible for the upcharge for the wine pairing component... MattInFLL Posted May 29, 2016 #733 Share Posted May 29, 2016 Tom - you probably already know this but Franky said he had 3 on 17 and an ATS and that they rotate week to week. He confirmed getting to an ATS can be challenging. Funny I just met Marva too. She helped me find my friends in a CL by you. What a sweetie. So Franky said some wine was paired in 150CP but not that special wine pairing menu. I don't drink wine so not an issue for me.

Shocked91 Posted May 30, 2016 #737 Share Posted May 30, 2016 On Quantum Class and Harmony, you don't get your SeaPass cards until staterooms become available around 1pm. That is correct. If you have a drinks package they just use your set sail pass till you get your seapass at 1pm.
constable145 Posted May 30, 2016 #738 Share Posted May 30, 2016 Someone mentioned that there is a roped off area for suites in Windjammer. Does anyone know if this area exists during the first day? Since we won't have access to our cards at that point yet. I'm not sure the roped off area for Suites exists on the ships that feature the Royal Suite class. Rare A&L_Ont Posted May 30, 2016 #740 Share Posted May 30, 2016 (edited) She is definitely one of the livelier suite attendants up here :) She is a hoot, in such a positive way. If she isn't our cabin steward we always make a point of finding her and visiting. On a side note you will notice that she has a scar on her forehead. The first time we had her taking care of us, she informed us of why it is important to put up the TV at night. Her scar was reminder to why to put it up. Perhaps you might want to tell your friends who are staying in the loft area. You might risk stubbing your toe, but they might be the ones needing that night light. ;):D Edited May 30, 2016 by A&L_Ont

It would be handy if you were "in the loop" so to speak. A guest messaging app would be ideal! How does noon tomorrow (sea day) sound to you? Marva should have our place tidied up nicely by that time! Your place or ours? Tom
Luvmypups Posted June 1, 2016 #745 Share Posted June 1, 2016 If I'm in a suite and get a cabana in Labadee on Barefoot Beach, can I invite non-suite guests? Sent from my iPhone using Forums mobile app
Clarea Posted June 1, 2016 #746 Share Posted June 1, 2016 If I'm in a suite and get a cabana in Labadee on Barefoot Beach, can I invite non-suite guests? Yes, your cabana on Barefoot comes with 6 wristbands you can give to whoever you like.
Rare John&LaLa Posted June 1, 2016 #747 Share Posted June 1, 2016 Yes, your cabana on Barefoot comes with 6 wristbands you can give to whoever you like. Is it correct that you can give all 6 out since suite guests can get their wrist bands when they check in at the gate

Were you in a suite that time? We shared a cabana once and were given our two gold bands. But the suite passenger picked hers up from the gate attendant.
