Getting off ship

It's been a while since I did a Carnival cruise. What is the absolute latest time that you have to leave cabin and that you must be off the ship? TIA :D

Out of the room by 8am, off the ship at around 10 am

Depends on how slow the lines are moving. On our last Carnival cruise we had number 18 and we were still waiting at 10:30 to be called.

If you are in FLL you may never get off. That is one messed up customs area.

We have sailed out of FL many times and have never had a serious problem/delay at Customs. We do debark early so maybe the later you leave the ship the longer the lines are.

Normally, you have to be out of your cabin by 8 AM.

Then, you sit around and wait until your number is called.

Carnival likes to have everyone completely off the ship by 10 AM ... but that does not always happen. :rolleyes:

The last morning is ANYTHING but fun...get off ASAP...they want you gone.

I totally agree. It took us about 10 mins to go through customs in FLL last Friday. No problem at all. There can always be a problem at any customs/immigration area at any port, but it is not an ongoing, standard condition at any port. :)

We've left as early as 9:00 and as late as 10:15. Don't really mind - I'm not usually in a big hurry. Get the last cup of coffee and muffin and sit on deck 10 of the lido dining room and wait for my zone to be called. I don't even care if it's 28! When I step off the ship, vacation is over!:(
