jadephoenixx Posted March 16, 2016 #1 Share Posted March 16, 2016 17 days until we leave on our cruise! It's been a few years since we've had a "laying in the sun" type of vacation but I'm remembering that my skin got very dry after a day at the pool/beach. Are those after sun type of lotions better or should I look for a good rich regular body lotion? Any recommendations?
awhfy Posted March 16, 2016 #2 Share Posted March 16, 2016 Coconut oil is great, CeraVe lotion is good, Vaseline Intensive Care is good. Just make sure to use something

JanineM Posted March 17, 2016 #4 Share Posted March 17, 2016 I have super dry skin. Lately I've been using L'Occitane Supple Skin almond oil. Absorbs very well. Seems like some of the heavier body creams just leave me sticky - only exacerbated by humid air!
cb at sea Posted March 17, 2016 #5 Share Posted March 17, 2016 The salt water pools can leave you feeling dry, as the salt will tend to accumulate on your body as the water evaporates...hop under the fresh water shower after each dip...that helps! Use your normal body lotion...liberally!
