Forward facing cabins on Regal/Royal...

Has anyone been in a cabin at the front of the the Royal or Regal lately? (balcony facing forward - above the bridge). Just wondering if they still allow you to access the balcony while at sea?

I understand it states that it is only accessible in port, but on our previous cruise in L102 we had 24/7 access. Would like to see if this is still the case.

Thanks

The forward cabins on the Royal and Regal do not have locks on the sliding doors to the balcony. There is no time when you are not allowed to go out there.

This misinformation started a long time ago and seems to persist!

It still persists because it’s listed in some cabin descriptions by Princess.
