jennymaxgirl Posted March 18, 2016 #1 Share Posted March 18, 2016 Has anyone been in a cabin at the front of the the Royal or Regal lately? (balcony facing forward - above the bridge). Just wondering if they still allow you to access the balcony while at sea? I understand it states that it is only accessible in port, but on our previous cruise in L102 we had 24/7 access. Would like to see if this is still the case. Thanks
Lin336 Posted March 18, 2016 #2 Share Posted March 18, 2016 We were on the Regal in January - cabin L101 - and had 24/7 access to the balcony. Loved the cabin & location.
Coolmama_1 Posted March 18, 2016 #3 Share Posted March 18, 2016 We were in L108 on the Royal last spring. We did have 1 day where it was quite windy. Otherwise it was great.
Robinsoncruiseso Posted March 20, 2016 #4 Share Posted March 20, 2016 We were in M102 on the Regal in February. Wonderful cabin and 24/7 access to the balcony. I even almost fell asleep one sea day out there!
drewdrewcruiser Posted August 10, 2018 #5 Share Posted August 10, 2018 We were in M102 on the Regal in February. Wonderful cabin and 24/7 access to the balcony. I even almost fell asleep one sea day out there! I booked M102 on the Royal. Just wondering if you had a lounge chair on the balcony or just a regular chair? Poulsbo Cruisers Posted August 11, 2018 #6 Share Posted August 11, 2018 I booked M102 on the Royal. Just wondering if you had a lounge chair on the balcony or just a regular chair? We just got off the Royal and had cabin M102. There are two lounger type chairs (adjustable chair with footstool).

Clampram Posted August 11, 2018 #8 Share Posted August 11, 2018 The forward cabins on the Royal and Regal do not have locks on the sliding doors to the balcony. There is no time when you are not allowed to go out there. This misinformation started a long time ago and seems to persist!

It still persists because it’s listed in some cabin descriptions by Princess. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
