Has anyone ever embarked then disembarked?

Has anyone ever embarked the ship in Barcelona as early as possible, checked in, took care of the reservations that sell out early, (ie Posh Beach Club) and then disembarked to see some more of the City of Barcelona? Is this even allowed?

You should ask on your cruise line forum to be sure, but we have done that on Royal Caribbean.

We did it on Spirit ... except the reservations as they were done online.

Of course it is fine. No need to check.

 

Once you are on board you can come and go as you please on embarkation day.

 

But be sure to be back in the required time frames such as for the muster drill, etc.

 

Mediterranean cruises tend to be port intensive so be sure to get unpacked and settled that day so that you are all set for the next port of call.

Did it on Oceania, Marina in N.Y. a few years ago. We were gone for a few hours. No problem.
