Soap - inside the area you walk through when getting off the ship, there is a woman with a stand who sells soaps. Pretty and smells great. Every time I wash my hands I think of my trip :-) They are inexpensive and make great little gifts too.

My husband and I got straw hats for 5 bucks each, they are coming with us in May for their 3rd cruise.

Best surprise in Nassau.....Dunkin Donuts!! My dad worked at the first one in Quincy Ma as a kid.

Happy Easter everyone!!

My Bahamas Starbucks Coffee Mug from Atlantis

Its with me all day every day and its sunshiny colours brighten my day and bring back memories of a wonderful time with my precious daughter -

So much prettier than a regular brown thermal mug :)

What kind of souvenirs are not permitted? I saw a picture of a wood carving of a knife or ax. My son, who we fondly call Pierce due to his love of knives, would probably like a carved wood souvenir instead of a tee shirt.

But would this be considered a weapon and get confiscated?

Hard Rock Cafe souvenir shot glasses. My husband and I get a Lemon Drop shot/keep the glass in every port or land-based location we go to that has a Hard Rock Cafe. :D We have an amazing collection, over 30 years strong, and great memories of each one.:cool:  (I also collect magnets.)
