Rare kjquilts Posted March 27, 2016 #4 Share Posted March 27, 2016 This little 5 x 7 painting done by this gentleman is one of my favorite souvenirs. It sits unframed on bookcase shelf right by my computer where I see it every day.

cyndepet Posted March 27, 2016 #6 Share Posted March 27, 2016 Soap - inside the area you walk through when getting off the ship, there is a woman with a stand who sells soaps. Pretty and smells great. Every time I wash my hands I think of my trip :-) They are inexpensive and make great little gifts too.

NJsharon Posted March 27, 2016 #8 Share Posted March 27, 2016 A Christmas ornament made from tiny shells. Love it! Put it on the tree every year & brings back memories. We also got it from that market when you first get off the ship right away in Nassau.

Working 2 cruise again Posted March 28, 2016 #12 Share Posted March 28, 2016 We have turtles that a man named Winston made out of wood. They are very rough but we loved them. We brought one home for both our son and daughter. They are about 8" x 5". Sent from my iPhone using Forums mobile app
5sonz Posted March 30, 2016 #13 Share Posted March 30, 2016 What kind of souvenirs are not permitted? I saw a picture of a wood carving of a knife or ax. My son, who we fondly call Pierce due to his love of knives, would probably like a carved wood souvenir instead of a tee shirt. But would this be considered a weapon and get confiscated? JuneauWhatIMean Posted March 30, 2016 #14 Share Posted March 30, 2016 Hard Rock Cafe souvenir shot glasses. My husband and I get a Lemon Drop shot/keep the glass in every port or land-based location we go to that has a Hard Rock Cafe. :D We have an amazing collection, over 30 years strong, and great memories of each one.:cool:  (I also collect magnets.)
