cruises fron Newcastle

I have heard that Thomson cruises intend to sail from Newcastle again in summer 2017 but cannot find any information on their web site. Does anyone know if this is true or is it just a rumour?

Fred Olsen & CMV start their cruises from Newcastle and Thomson also have done in the past & will be in 2017 ;)

We've sailed several times from Newcastle in the past. Good port, easy access - good to see Thomson back again to give more options for those living so far away from Southampton. We liked the Harwich departures too.

My first cruise was from Harwich on Celebration, happy memories :)

 

I really like Celebration, but not the single cabins :(

 

I will have to try persuading them to let me book a double cabin for single occupancy, even if it means paying 100% single supplement.

Does anyone know when the prices will be released for the ex-Newcastle cruises, the repositioning ones in particular. Or will we have to wait until 21st April? With Fred Olsen and Thomson leaving from Newcastle there is so much to choose from now. :)

Yes, I know that they are going on sale on 21st April (I have an appointment with my TA) but I wondered if they released their prices earlier.

I understand you can't book these cruises on line as we all know there is no option for cruise only on the new bl...y awful website and my Thomson TA has confirmed this and says they can only be booked with them They will be available on 21st April and not even at Future Cruises onboard and unfortunately or fortunately I will be mid Atlantic so my sister is going to get the prices and text them to me so I can confirm whether I want to go ahead for her to book not ideal but they seem very very popular and I don't want to miss out
