Royal Chef's Table - March 18, 2016 - Photos

Hi folks,

We're just back from our honeymoon on the Royal and I'm pouring through hundreds of photos and video clips. It'll be a while before I have it all organized but I have prepared some photos from the Chef's Table we did on 3/18. I am not going to give a commentary on exactly what happens at the event as I don't want to spoil the night for those yet to have done it and who plan to. I will say we have previously done the Chef's Table on Carnival which, despite CCL's reputation, they do an excellent steakhouse and a great Chef's Table. The CT on Royal was an experience above that on CCL in my opinion.

Anyway, please enjoy the photos.

If I can ever figure out how to hotlink from flickr I'd post the photos right here in the thread. For now you'll need to follow the link to flikr itself.

Thanks for sharing the pictures.

We've enjoyed Chef's Table on two Princess cruises, and were honored and surprised to have special guest Alfredo Marzi, Princess' head chef, officiate the first one! I pestered him to autograph the menu, the photo, the cookbook, my wife's rose... XD

Congratulations! So, what did you think of the Royal and your cruise? Food looks amazing, thank you for sharing!
Thank you.

We loved it. It was an adjustment given we've only done 7-day cruises before but overall we were happy.

I plan to post a more general impressions/review once I can get some more photos edited.

The pictures look simply amazing. We have done the Chef's Table two twice, on the Emerald and the Island. Both were absolutely wonderful! We hope to repeat it on the Crown this October on the way to Hawaii!! We are food and wine lovers, so for us, it is quite an evening! Thanks for posting these!:)

Can you include a brief description of the courses? Thanks!

Absolutely. I meant to do that and forgot. I will scan the menu and post a little later this evening.

Thanks for posting the link to your pictures. Very yummy:).

As far as posting the pictures directly to your post, it's quite simple. Go to the flickr picture in question and choose "view all sizes" as if you were going to download the pictures. Once this is done, select the size you want. I typically choose the medium size. Once the sized picture is displayed, hover over it and right click your mouse and choose "copy image address." After this is done, go back to your CC post and click on the picture icon (yellow square) under the left turn arrow. It will open a box where you enter the url you copied from the image. After this, click ok and the image url will be put on the part of your post you set the cursor on.

Hope this helps.....:):):)

Or you can...

From your image's page, click the curvy arrow at the bottom right of the screen.

On the next screen, pick BBCode and then just copy and paste the link into your message here on CC. You can also pick what size image you want to share... easy-peasy...

Great Pictures-Thank You!

We have had the Chefs Table when it first came out around 6 years ago-it appears the galley Apps and main entrees have been cut back? We were on the Crown and Caribbean Princess which served lg medallions of 4 kinds of meat hanging on hooks-more wine served and more samples in the galley:)
