No. You can prepay the $12.95 pp per day gratuity or they will add it to your S&S account. Having said that, you can go to GS and have it removed, but I don't advocate that.

 

I just called and spoke with someone and she said I could not go to GS and have it removed. I think I will check anyway.

The customer service agents you get on the phone are often mistaken.

 

I don't know why you would want to remove the gratuities, though. Some people do that and want to give cash, but that ends up shorting others who have served you and would get the gratuities.

No you have to go to guest services after they post them to have them removed. We always tip in cash

You don't have to...but often giving them a bit extra will get your your next drink faster!
