You go to a ball game, concert or event and you pay $15-$30 to park your car,

$5.00 for a Hot Dog that costs about $0.25, $7.00 or more for a beer that costs 50 cents etc.

 

Restaurants charge $2.79 for a fountain soda that cost pennies.

 

You are a captive audience on a cruise ship and you will pretty much overpay for EVERYTHING. I do not know why anyone would be surprised.

 

You have a choice whether you want to pay the set amount or not.

Compared to the price of other beverages, not on the ship, how do you see $8 for 24 items a rip off? 24 cans or bottles of any other beverage would cost at least that much or more.
