FLUFFLULA Posted April 16, 2016 #1 Share Posted April 16, 2016 We'll be on AOS in July doing the southern caribbean. We've been told about secret places on other ships by CC posters and wonder if there are special or "secret" places not to miss on the AOS. If you know a special place please describe how to access it too! Thanks!
leaveitallbehind Posted April 16, 2016 #2 Share Posted April 16, 2016 Not really a secret place but a unique feature to the Voyager class of ships is the peak-a-boo bridge, which is forward, outside, on deck 11. This is a window into the bridge from above that allows you to see into it above the control station.
Merion_Mom Posted April 16, 2016 #3 Share Posted April 16, 2016 I prefer the peek-a-boo bridge. ;) :D
cruiseguy1016 Posted April 16, 2016 #4 Share Posted April 16, 2016 Another "not so secret" spot is the helipad. It's open most of the time for the passengers but most passengers have no idea that it's there, that it is open to them or how to get there. Go all the way forward on deck 5. You'll have to climb a flight of stairs. There are no lights up there at night because they would adversely affect the Captain's vision. It's a great place to star gaze. Actually, you can either go forward on the outside promenade on deck 4, then up the stairs, or go into the forward lounge on deck 5 and then outside the starboard side door.
