We leave next month for our first cruise on the Dream. We selected the late dining option bc I thought it may be easier since we have 3 port days. My question is, if we decide not to dine in the MDR every night, what is the best way to let them know? Bc I would assume they would be expecting us and I don't want our table mates to be waiting on us and then we never show...

I would also ask this on the Carnival forum here:

More folks with experience on Dream are likely to see it there.

If you know you will not be eating there the next night, tell your tablemates so they will not wait for you. If you are not sharing a table, not a problem. EM

What if we decide that day we won't be eating there? Who would I contact?

I would contact the head waiter in your dining room. Usually he is by the entrance.

We tell our table mates the first night that we are always punctual, so if you have looked at your menus and are ready to order, go ahead. We are not coming.

This is great advice. Thank you!
