questions on 7 mile beach

im looking for a beach like we go to in st. marten and st. Thomas. nice beach with green blue water where you can rent 2 chairs and maybe an umbrella and a bar right on the beach. has anyone been to 7 mile beach and is this the place im describing? also how much for rental of chairs and umbrella and how much aprox. for taxi ride? thank you

Take the Seven Mile Beach shuttle from inside of port. I believe it is around $5 per person. Usually the first drop off location is Calico Jack's Bar and Grill. You can rent chairs and an umbrella right there for something around $6. The food is great and so are the drinks. Beautiful beach with activities all around. The public beach is next door and is very nice as well.

Thanks so much for this link to your previous information! It is really helpful! We have an excursion planned but it's less than 3 hours and they have offered to drop us off at 7 Mile Beach on the way back. I think we will have a couple of hours at least until we have to be back on board so I think we will take them up on it!

7 Mile Beach is less than 6 miles of beautiful beachfront! There is a bus that will drop you at any access point. Chair and umbrella rentals are all along the beach. Seagrape has food, watersport rentals, and nice restrooms, too! The bus is $2.50 pp...so easy!

Is there volleyball along the beach somewhere? Where should we get off the bus for this?

Yes, there are volleyball sand courts right next door to Calico Jack's Bar and Grill. It is a public beach. Take the Seven Mile Beach shuttle from the port and it is usually the first stop. Most folks get off there.
