Recommended tips are going up May first. I was debating about prepaying but after talking to someone who works on a Royal Caribbean cruise ship, I am willing to pay the extra money for the waitress/room attendant. If you get lousy service, you can pull it out. Anyway, these people only get paid for what they make in tips.

You had to add the gratuities to your reservation by April 14th to take advantage of the lower rates.

I am willing to give them a little more money for good service.
