Discounts for booking your next cruise while on board?

Does Carnival offer discounts on your next cruise if you book while you are on board for your current trip? Or are better discounts found on-line by waiting for sales?

You get on board credit towards your next cruise if you book on while still on the ship. You can always book and then if a better price comes along you can rebook(before final payment) and still get the new price.

You receive an on-board credit to be used on the new cruise and the amount varies depending on the length of the new cruise. You may book at any rate that is being offered at the time. You also get two vouchers that others can use if they book the same cruise within a specified period of time.

 

Be aware that if you price match later to a different rate, you have to remind Carnival that the OBC is from booking on board and it should remain with you.
