Drug Smugglers arrested on Freedom

Many years ago, on my first ever cruise, some drug smugglers bolted 250 pounds of Marijuana to the bottom or our ship (Carnival Holiday) while we were docked in Jamaica. They caught divers trying to retrieve it once we got back to Miami.

I wonder what in dept. on the ship they worked - and for how long they had been employed by Royal.

In other news, sales of sandals at the Merritt Island Walmart has plummeted.

In yet other other news, Royal has just announced a new shore excursion to buy sandals in the Bahamas. I does however require the signing of a legal wavier.

Guess that explains why I saw crew members having to remove their shoes for security as they came back on board on our last cruise!
