Moonraker7 Posted April 30, 2016 #1 Share Posted April 30, 2016 I have a lot of sea days in November and wondered what type of entertainment there was on board. I've not travelled with celebrity before and the website isn't really much help with their FAQs . Thanks for any answers!
Rare Azulann Posted April 30, 2016 #2 Share Posted April 30, 2016 I wil be on the Constellation for the third time this summer. Like all celebrity ships, there are lots of things to do during a sea day. You can play trivia, listen to speakers on various topic, play bingo, gamble in the casino, take a computer class, exercise classes, wine tasting etc. You can enjoy the pool area with live band in the afternoon, sometimes they had a cooking challenge with the captain and others or otehr comeitotn with crew and passengers. Entertainment are nightly shows in the theater, two seatings, smaller music groups or guitar player in the various lounges , bar areas, and the funniest show is Liars Club in the theater with the Captain and CD . You will receive a daily paper each evening. It lists everything for the next day on ship. I always read it cover to cover and highlight the events and times for the next sea day. Enjoy and welcome to Celebrity.

2theship Posted April 30, 2016 #4 Share Posted April 30, 2016 On cruises with a lot of sea days, Celebrity generally offers some excellent enrichment programming. If you're lucky, you'll have speakers talking about the ports you're visiting (and I don't mean the port shopping talks, more about history and culture). There may also be some lectures on navigation, history, art, whatever. On one cruise, there was a series about giant squid - it was packed every day. Rare MVPinBoynton Posted May 1, 2016 #5 Share Posted May 1, 2016 If you are on the Constellation in November, it sounds like a TA cruise. Here is a link to the dailies from last year's TA on the Equinox. http://thepreismans.com/equinox_ta_dailies.htm There are probably a few things that can't be done on the Constellation, since they don't have a Lawn area; but most should be similar. Here is a link to the daily schedules from a Hawaii cruise from San Diego, that had 10 sea days. http://thepreismans.com/hawaii_dailies_dw.htm Obviously, there are many Hawaiian based activities; but you should be able to get an idea of the activity level on a Celebrity cruise. villauk Posted May 21, 2016 #8 Share Posted May 21, 2016 (edited) WE are going from Venice to Rome 11 day Dalmatian Coast cruise, do you have any advice on shore excursions? You need to go to the 'Ports of Call board' for Europe, lots of recommendations for private tours etc. http://boards.cruisecritic.com/forumdisplay.php?f=19 Additionally, you will probably find your roll call has also arranged some independent excursions for sharing ;). We're sailing the same itinerary in August. Edited May 21, 2016 by villauk
