Thoughts on Crown Suites L106 and L107

We were on the Crown in March, we didn't have one of those suites however folks hanging out on the deck above the bridge can look fully onto your balcony, so there is no privacy while anyone is hanging around there.

Also, the balcony is very narrow.

Had booked a minisuite on the Crown for our 6/2012 Med cruise. Our TA got us upgraded to this suite at no charge (great TA!). The suite was very nice and roomy. The bathroom is not the typical suite bathroom with separate shower and whirlpool tub. It is more like a minisuite bathroom with the tub/shower combination. The balcony is HUGE (40 ft, I believe) and is kind of windy when the ship is moving. Yes, if the observation deck is open, everyone can see you. Proximity to the spa/gym is excellent. Since it's as the front of the ship, it's a long walk to get to different venues. Any other questions, please ask!

I think you should try and get one of the aft penthouse suites instead.

Those are incredible!!

The balcony has a teak wood dining table with 4 cushioned chairs and two teak cushioned loungers and small table. There is a glass railing with plenty of space to still walk around. It's not cramped at all.

The bathroom has a shower and a separate bathtub with a separate toilet/sink area.

We are contemplating booking one of these but have concerns about their location. Has anyone ever cruised in one of these suites? Thoughts??

This is a glorified mini suite!  There is no walk in shower. Half the balcony is obstructed by another deck! Shame on Princess for passing this off as an S5 class suite. It is a mini suite on other ships.
