I know the train takes only a few minutes to get to Nice.

 

Would you think it would be likely I could make a walking tour that meets at Place Massena in Nice at 11:25am?

Using the train we doubt it! The trains only run about every half hour that time of day and the only train that would meet your needs is the 10:39. The odds of you getting ashore and making it up the steps to the train station for that train is questionable given the way tender operations work. You might do better with the public buses since they run more often then the trains.

A shared taxi would likely get you there on time... but there is never a guarantee that there will even be any taxis....and that you can find a few to share.
