It's only being tested on the Vista currently. At some point it will be rolled out to the rest of the fleet...no timetable was given.

The actual quote;

Here is the new Chefs table menu for your Carnival Vista. Once tested we will move to other ships.

I just got back from the Chef's Table last week. The new menu won't be fleet wide for quite some time. The chef said they were still in the testing process and would have a lot to figure out (money/amounts/etc etc). He had no idea of when it would be fleetwide but made it sound like definitely not til next year.

Question, what time does this start?

You have to sign up for this ahead of time. You will get an invitation in your stateroom that details when and where the Chef's Table is being held.

When we were on the Conquest a few years ago we met in one of the lounges around 6:30-7pm and it lasted a few hours.

Is it possible to let the chef know if someone in the party has dietary issues? This could include food choices (vegetarian or non-red meat eater) or food allergies?

Yes, the chef or assistant chef will come to your table the night before and ask if there are any dietary issues, allergies, dislikes, food choices, ect..

Super excited. Going on our first cruise in Oct. This is def. on my list.

You are in for a treat and maybe a surprise or two.

One hint is that if you don't absolutely love your first bite of a course, set it aside. By the time the last three courses were served I couldn't eat another bite.

Without a doubt the price of this experience is the best money I have ever spent on Carnival.
