Does anyone know about the availibilty of beer on the island and the price? Thanks

Sorry can't help you with prices. We spent time on both sides of Catalina (Aquarium for snorkeling, and Playa de la Isla Catalina for the beach and snorkeling along the Wall. There was bar service and lounges for rent on the beach but we were on an AI cat and so didn't use those services. You could try emailing the Casa De Campo resort for info as they provide tours there along with many independent operators.
