whylion Posted June 14, 2016 #1 Share Posted June 14, 2016 This might be a dumb question, but what do they do with La terrazza and the pool dining hot rock restaurant when the weather is bad?
Rare RachelG Posted June 14, 2016 #2 Share Posted June 14, 2016 In La terraza, you just eat indoors. They close off the outside seating. In Hot Rocks, if the weather is really really bad, they would just close it. But that is rare. The area is mostly covered, and we ate there once in pouring rain. It was actually kind of fun. dan-c-man Posted June 21, 2016 #3 Share Posted June 21, 2016 We ate there in a storm, and still recall how much we enjoyed!!!
eastwoodboy Posted June 22, 2016 #4 Share Posted June 22, 2016 I can quite imagine that a storm can add to the atmosphere especially if accompanied by lightening at sea. On the other hand we had the pleasure of dining at Terrazza a couple of nights ago whilst at anchor off Naphlion and it was the most sublime experience. Weather, food, wine, location and company all fell into place for a magical evening.
Emtbsam Posted June 22, 2016 #5 Share Posted June 22, 2016 We had the dubious pleasure of dining at hot rocks on a foggy night. The fog horn sounded every few minutes and stopped all conversation. Still it was fun.
