Mini Suite vs Family Mini Suite

Hi,

We are going on the Getaway in November 2017. We currently have a mini-suite on deck 10 that sleeps 3. It is myself, DH, and DS (will be 8 when we sail). I was checking out the family mini suites on deck 12 that sleep 4. I am curious if he sleeps on the Pullman, would this give us more room, or does the Pullman actually take up more room? Also, I think the family mini suites have a tub, is this correct? Are they any other differences between a regular mini suite and a family mini suite (besides location)? TIA

Tub is the main difference I recall vs. shower. This is for the BA but rooms will be same for GA:

the only other main difference is the family mini suites are located closer to the kid's clubs and activities

On the BA, the Pullman was directly over the sofa bed. If there were just : of us, I think we'd use the sofa bed and keep the Pullman away.
