All cruise lines I have seen have a statement on their solo traveler policies. This is usually hidden in the small type at the bottom of the page with the sailing dates and prices. They usually don't make their solo pricing/availability too easy to find. Of course, special offers have become more common. Be sure however to read the fine print.

This is why I think it's good to work with a knowledgeable TA. They know the in and outs, and often high producing agencies and TAs have access to deals and special pricing that's not advertised. Most don't charge a fee to use their services.

Lois, I just read your review of your recent cruise on the AmaStella. I'm also a solo traveler and I'm so happy to hear they have cabins with no single supplement. I'm definitely thinking of booking a river cruise in 2018. Thanks so much for writing your review.

Cruise in 2017 but put that on the back burner.......I am definitely looking

at one for 2018 too.......that is when I will turn 60 and want to do something

special for it:)
