Confirm Sip & Sail on Cruise Personalizer?

I booked a S&S cruise via TA last night and wanted to confirm on "my princess"... the booking shows up OK in the cruise personalizer, however I can't "see" the Sip & Sail offer anywhere in the system. For example, we also have a cruise booked under the "Red, White, & Blue" sale, and I can see that the gratuities have been paid under Payment & Credits -> Optional Gratuity Pre Payment.

 

Is there a location within the personalizer where I may verify the AIBP has been included? I've already checked Onboard Reservations -> Reservations and Purchases (this is where I would think it would show), but nothing is indicated...?

 

btw, the TA receipt does indicate the S&S inclusion, along with the dinning and extra OBC... just wanted to verify :confused:

Sign into your Princess account, go to My Princess, select your cruise, select ‘Onboard Reservations', select ‘Beverage Packages’, scroll to bottom and you should see the beverage package under ‘Reservations & Purchases’.

 

Thats where I thought it should be, however it's not...

I can confirm it shows up on the bottom of the Onboard Reservations tab. We booked an upcoming cruise on the previous S&S promo and there is a line item at the bottom that states All Inclusive Beverage Package, Quantity 1, The price it would have cost me, Compliments of For: Dudleydog73, Complimentary Gift.

 

There is a separate line item for the same thing for Mrs. Dudleydog73

I just logged in, went to my booking summary, then clicked on the link to "Order your All-inclusive Package". Then I scrolled to the bottom of the page and my included package shows up. It shows for me and for my wife as well. I've taken the names out but pasted the info from the Princess site below:

Time to call Princess or your TA and get that straightened out!

 

Yeah, just contacted princess (twice) to "fix the personalizer"... first princess CSR was very helpful and sent a confirmation email from princess that verifies the S&S package for this particular cruise, however she didn't know why it wasn't showing up in my personalizer. So I called the 800 number again, but selected the option for personalizer assistance... this CSR again verified he could see the promotion was applied, however didn't understand why it wasn't on my page... then suggested I contact my TA for verification. WAIT a minute, what would my TA have to do with their internal software issues...? :eek:

 

Anyway, thanks for all your replies... I believe I'm covered with the direct email from PCL

I called my TA yesterday and had her add it to our Spring 28 day on the Royal. Just went in and it is there listed as complimentary. Also saved $200. on the original price of cruise and got to keep all my $875 obc :D Love Princess!

You should print the confirmation email and bring it with you, just to avoid any problems on your vacation.

I had Sip & Sail added to 2 of my cruises. It shows up on the Cruise Personalizer for one cruise but doesn't show up on the other. When I asked my TA about it not showing up she said that it was on the invoice that Princess sent her and wasn't sure why it wasn't showing up on my end. Hopefully we won't have any problems when we get on board.

It's not showing up on my personalizer for a sailing I just booked. TA confirmed and sent email. Princess rep confirmed and says its a software issue. I'll just wait and see if it pops up and prob follow up again before the promo code ends.

The thing that worked for me was to try to purchase the drink

package. After a few clicks it wouldn't let me proceed, as I

already had it included.

I just tried that and it wanted my $1400! :p Is it only those that book through a TA that has issues with it not showing up?

I had Sip & Sail added to 2 of my cruises. It shows up on the Cruise Personalizer for one cruise but doesn't show up on the other. Same thing here. 3 cruises reserved: one showing the S & S in my CP; the other 2 were confirmed through my TA but they are not in their respective CP. Since those 2 cruises are in 2018, I guess this will be fixed by then :rolleyes:

 

BTW the confirmations came as "Gifts and Services Summary" crediting my TA. This is the same method used sometimes when you get a free meal in a specialty restaurant and you receive a "Gift from ..." in your cabin when boarding.

 

Glad to see I'm not the only one in this situation.

The problem is related to the LAST S & S promotion.

Your direct email is good enough (same with free gratuities) When you contact Princess, there is TWO customer service lines (its easy to miss in the auto-messages) One is the house cruise specialists dealing with online and direct bookings. They can't help you if you are booked through a TA (although they try) They correctly refer you back to your TA who is essentially being paid by princess to take care of everything. Technically as your agent, the TA is responsible for everything including corrections and changes. Its also a LOT faster if your TA does his job. Sadly way too many TAs are just "sellers" not "servicers"

It's been about a month now and the "All-Inclusive Beverage Promotion Au" and "complimentary gift" is just now showing up on my personalizer under onboard reservations/beverage packages :)

 

thanks for the heads-up... my S&S has shown up at the bottom of the onboard reservations page as well - yippee, the drinks are on the house :D
