Astro Flyer Posted July 9, 2016 #3 Share Posted July 9, 2016 There's no way on the Princess site to mark an upgrade preference which by default is to accept any upgrade. To mark your reservation Meta or no upgrade, your booking source (Princess or TA) must do it.

Someone at Princess has to make this change to your reservation manually ... either directly through Princess or via your travel agent.

BillNY Posted July 9, 2016 #6 Share Posted July 9, 2016 A Meta upgrade means moving from one category, say oceanview, to balcony, as opposed to moving from an oceanview to a cabin the cruise line deems to bea "better" oceanview. bigenna Posted July 9, 2016 #8 Share Posted July 9, 2016 But keep in mind that some of the CSR's won't know what Meta means so you might have to explain.
Astro Flyer Posted July 10, 2016 #9 Share Posted July 10, 2016 (edited) But keep in mind that some of the CSR's won't know what Meta means so you might have to explain. That's a good point & it may be necessary for the CSR to research it or for us to call later to get someone who knows about the Meta upgrade option.
