$250 gives you one deposit and $`100 OBC which you can apply to the Cruise next deposit making it $150

$500 gives you two deposits and $250 in OBC so like getting one free

$750 gives you 3 and $375 OBC making it half off

and $1000 gives you 4 with $500 OBC making it 4 for the price of 2

OBC is applied to the bill while on the ship

Good for 4 years. Can book with any TA/company, doesnt have to be NCL site

Hope that helps.

You may also be able to buy one on Ebay or from a disgruntled owner of one upset over the new bottled water/soda policy. There have been multiple posts about people contemplating selling their certificates in the 85 page thread.

So, how long will it be before the new regime declare existing cruise next vouchers extinct.....with a couple of months notice?!

The "new regime" already changed the cruise next program to make it much better than it had been under the previous regime.

Is voucher per cabin? We need two cabins, so do we need two vouchers?

For non-suites, you can use one voucher per cabin. If you are getting two cabins, you can use a voucher for each.

Call NCL directly and check, up until recently (quite possibly, extended again) - it's been possible to book one stateroom (regular ones) using two vouchers (that's $250 x 2 or $500 in face value) at the time of making a new booking. If using a TA, ask and have them check for you & see if is being offered now.

Those buying, especially soon-to-expire certificates, from eBay or other channels - sometimes negotiate or pay 50 to 60% of the face value (to covered their selling costs from Paypal & eBay) as they're already benefited from the OBC or half price discount when buying it.

Casino rates are eligible for applying it for paying the administrative charge/fee & port taxes, etc. - just in case you are new to all these.
