My recommendation is still the same. D2 on Deck 9.

 

Why are you asking? Are they the same price? If not, how much more is the D2?

I'd slightly favor 9362 for the increased space, but 8574 is more centrally located and would likely have less motion.

D''s are larger than E's...so go for bigger!!! It's not a lot, but it's better than nothing, space wise!

If price is the same, go with the larger D2 cabin

 

Sailed on Explorer a number of times (miss her here in NJ, sob....) and often took balcony gty. NEVER had a bad cabin.

Balcony guarantee is just the cabin class but you could wind up any where with a poor balcony position or even one with an obstructed view. Our 1st cruise was EOS Inner cabin and I swore i would never do that again. 2nd trip was JS with balcony, port side if i recall which may give better views coming to each destination.

 

Further cruises, we opted for Owners Suite, Sky Loft Balcony etc. The variety is nice. Once you figure out your needs and budget you will have great fun on Royal.
