Rare Woobstr112G Posted July 24, 2016 #1 Share Posted July 24, 2016 I have a question regarding Google Drive. I currently maintain the roll call spreadsheet for my upcoming cruise on the Caribbean Princess. I created the spreadsheet in Google Sheets and it is maintained in my Google drive. When I add someone, I send an access invite to the roll call member. The invite has a link that allows the member to view the document. I had a member, who uses Firefox as his browser, message me that when he tries to access the link, he gets a message saying "the page is not redirecting properly." I don't have a clue as to solving the problem. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance for any replies.....:):):) Bob
sherilyn70 Posted July 24, 2016 #2 Share Posted July 24, 2016 (edited) Too many unknowns here. What is the address you are sending him? How old is his version of Firefox? Is he logged into Google with the email address you gave the permissions to? Had he tried it from another browser or computer? Sent from my Samsung Galaxy 7 edge using Tapatalk. Geldhart Posted July 24, 2016 #3 Share Posted July 24, 2016 Are you using "just need the link to access the spreadsheet option"? If so test out that link yourself using firefox. If it fails its a Firefox issue Have the person try using a different browser.

cruzincurt Posted July 25, 2016 #5 Share Posted July 25, 2016 I think you have a couple of options. Once the spreadsheet is open in Google sheets, under FILE tab the pull down menu has "Publish to the WEB", as well as options to save the file in other formats. It sounds like you haven't made your spread sheet "public". I make mine public and that way the roll call can view it without needing access ;). Once we are close to the cruise, I convert it to PDF so everyone can print/download it and don't require Internet access to view it. Goes into I books nicely.
