Dublin Port

Hi, we are sailing into Dublin next July on the Azamara Journey, while trying to book a walking tour that starts in the city center, I was asked if I wanted to book a $65 taxi to the city center where the tour starts. Is this the normal cost? We have 3 people.:confused:

It is more like 10 euro for a taxi from the dock... unless the ship docks way out of town

Who are you booking the transfer with for that kind of money

That seriously sounds like a rip-off price. I'd say it's in the 10-15 euro range, and the possibility you'd have to pay the tunnel toll if the driver goes through there. but that's it. No way is it nearly 80 odd euro for a taxi

When we ported in Dublin, our ship had a shuttle that ran to the center of town. Maybe see if yours does, also?
