Happily@Sea Posted August 4, 2016 #51 Share Posted August 4, 2016 (edited) Only about 10 more minutes before she travels behind the other ships and lost to sight. Then I'll be back in about 2 1/2 hours. ETA: She's moving a lot quicker than I thought. Edited August 4, 2016 by Happily@Sea

Rare Scrapnana Posted August 5, 2016 #58 Share Posted August 5, 2016 She left the dock quietly. I wonder why sometimes we can hear the captain giving commands and other times we cannot.

Happily@Sea Posted August 5, 2016 #60 Share Posted August 5, 2016 I love to watch them when they are going sideways. I like that too, the 180 circle is also mesmerizing.

Rare rafinmd Posted August 5, 2016 #70 Share Posted August 5, 2016 I guess that's it for tonight. I hope to be here tomorrow for the Maasdam sailin (from Vancouver) and the sailaway (from Bellingham) but the Volendam sailin is iffy as I need to be out of my hotel before then. I was just thinking I'll probably pass the Noordam sometime Saturday night but will most likely be asleep. Roy

Rare rafinmd Posted August 5, 2016 #72 Share Posted August 5, 2016 Roy: What ship will you be sailing on? The Alaska ferry Kennicott, Bellingham WA to Whittier. After 5 days in Anchorage and Denali I board the Crystal Serenity from Seward to New York. Roy
Rare ski ww Posted August 5, 2016 #73 Share Posted August 5, 2016 Just got off the web cam, beautiful harbour in the evening, lots of day light still. Can see the Maasdam approaching but her speed is listed as 0.1k. Allan
