Crown & Anchor Extra Points ?

Recommended Posts

Hello

I was reviewing my Crown and Anchor points and I had some questions.

Im sailing on a 4 day with a Grand Suite do I still get double points even if its 4 days?

Then I was reading something about receiving extra points if you book the Cruisetours. Is that so and if so what is the point equivalent?

Thanks so much

Yes, you still would get an extra point per night on a 4-day cruise.

The cruisetour portion would get the same number of points per night as you are getting on the cruise.

Thank you so much, you are so helpful.

I met both of you a long time ago on the Mariner of the Seas going out of LA.

We were at our Muster Drill and luckily at a table inside not standing outside with the life vest on. Ha Ha

Thank goodness we don't have to put on life vest anymore.

Interesting cruise, my late hubby and I put in a glowing comment on two ladies working in the casino on another cruise. They were now on the Mariner cruise. They recognized us and told us their review was read in a class as an example and were given bonuses. Then the ladies told fellow employees we were on the ship. Crew was coming up to us all the time asking our names and doing crazy stuff to please us. Made it interesting a really fun.

Ill never forget it.

Any way a long time ago, thanks for the information. You really know your stuff and I for one rely that your answer is absolutely correct every time. You should have your own blog if you don't already. Id follow it.

Thanks

Thanks much for the kind words. I don't remember on which cruise we met, but we only did two out of San Pedro, one to the Pacific Northwest (re-directed because of the media created swine flu hysteria) and the next year down to the Mexican Riviera. Both of those were excellent cruises.

Funny you should mention Mariner now. We will be taking another Voyager class ship under the Golden Gate next month. I never thought I'd have the chance to do that again.

Bob, if you get a moment could you explain please what you mean by cruisetour. Are you meaning hotel stays before or after the cruise booked through Royal?

We had a two night stay booked through Royal for our recent Dubai cruise but didn't get C & A points for this. We didn't though book the flights through Royal so maybe this was the reason.

Many thanks

The cruise tours are very specific. There isaseparate search function on Royal's website for these and currently the only ones offered are for Alaska, Hawaii and Pacific Northwest.
