Guarantee Stateroom Question

Does anybody know or have had experience of booking two guarantee staterooms with a need for the two rooms to be ajoining or very close due to traveling with two children, aged 14 and 9 in their own room? Can it even be done? The rooms in question are interior rooms.

Would never book a guarantee with children, unless you are happy with one adult and one child in one room and the others in another room that may be 6 or more decks apart

You should not be booking guarantee staterooms.

No guarantees that you will even be assigned the same category. Also being from the UK you do not have the ability to change staterooms once they have been assigned so you would be stuck with what you were assigned.
