pvsmyth Posted August 12, 2016 #1 Share Posted August 12, 2016 Does anybody know or have had experience of booking two guarantee staterooms with a need for the two rooms to be ajoining or very close due to traveling with two children, aged 14 and 9 in their own room? Can it even be done? The rooms in question are interior rooms.

Would never book a guarantee with children, unless you are happy with one adult and one child in one room and the others in another room that may be 6 or more decks apart

Also being from the UK you do not have the ability to change staterooms once they have been assigned so you would be stuck with what you were assigned. cb at sea Posted August 13, 2016 #6 Share Posted August 13, 2016 If you HAVE to be connecting, or even, close-by...do NOT book a GTY booking! You could be ANYWHERE.....
spookwife Posted August 13, 2016 #7 Share Posted August 13, 2016 Not possible. And common sense dictates that you wouldn't even run that kind of a risk at all just to save a few bucks.
AussieCruiser2332 Posted August 13, 2016 #8 Share Posted August 13, 2016 We had friends who booked two interior cabins as a GTY not understanding what this means - they were placed on different floors with no ability to move. I agree with others - if you want to be adjourning, or even close by, I would not choose the GTY option.
