cruiselover19811981 Posted August 13, 2016 #1 Share Posted August 13, 2016 Anyone know if there would be an iron available to touch up any clothing on the Escape? If so, where?
hpecorari Posted August 13, 2016 #2 Share Posted August 13, 2016 Just ask your room steward and he will bring you an iron and an ironing board for a couple hours Harriet

Rare BirdTravels Posted August 13, 2016 #4 Share Posted August 13, 2016 Or call to housekeeping. Your room steward is housekeeping. Their name and number will be on the main screen when you turn on your TV.
MandyMommyof2 Posted August 15, 2016 #5 Share Posted August 15, 2016 Yes, I agree with others. Let your room steward know you would like an iron and he/she can get you one to use for a few hours. I have done this in the past up until last year. I purchased from wall-mart one of the travel steamers. It worked like a charm. Very portable and did the job great. I think I spent maybe $15 on it. It will now go on all our cruises with us :)
oakridger Posted August 15, 2016 #6 Share Posted August 15, 2016 I thought most cruise lines specifically prohibit irons in the cabins due to fire hazards. Is Norwegian the exception?
Sauer-kraut Posted August 15, 2016 #7 Share Posted August 15, 2016 (edited) I thought most cruise lines specifically prohibit irons in the cabins due to fire hazards. Is Norwegian the exception? You can't bring a travel iron on board with you but NCL does allow irons to be brought to the cabin by the steward for an hour or so, plus they are irons that will automatically shut off after a certain time. Norwegian has no self-service laundry areas so where else could one do their ironing? :D Edited August 15, 2016 by Sauer-kraut
