Pool area restaurants in Alaska on the Emerald

We are sailing August 2017 to Alaska. Will the Trident Grill and the Pizza and Ice Cream shop be open?

You're from Minnesota and you're worried about it being too cold to dine al fresco in Alaska in August? :confused:

 

Other than your day of glacier cruising, it will be summertime weather. Maybe a little rain but that never stops those venues from serving. Average daylight is 16.5 hours in Juneau in August.

 

Plus its never too cold for ice cream.:D

We were just on the Coral and the Star. All the usual venues were open.

 

Also, you can always get food outside and bring it into HC

Plus they usually have some kind of buffet with salmon and reindeer chili set up at least one day near the pool.
