csnarpy Posted August 31, 2016 #6 Share Posted August 31, 2016 If your a diver, do it here! It's Bull Shark season and they are amazing. Also, atving here is great - very fast and can be very muddy, which I love. This time around, my wife and I are doing a jeep ride and Pasion Isla beach- 5hrs for $75. Also, I've heard nothing but great times with the Amazing Race Cozumel

grinthock Posted August 31, 2016 #11 Share Posted August 31, 2016 Yes!! I have been there many times. 1) Right on the dock in Playa Del Carmen there is a sailing excusion called the it is AMAZING - I will do it again it was so fun, you race sailboats. It's cheap and great. 2) Xplor Park - Expensive - but VERY worth it if you like some action, it is an entire day. Here is an except from my video when I was there. Do it though the ship to ensure you are not late - because we were and they waited
Wendyland Posted August 31, 2016 #12 Share Posted August 31, 2016 It's very easy to around Cozumel by taxi. They are everywhere. No need to book thru ship unless you want to do offshore diving or something. Even then, you can probably make other arrangements. Mr. Sanchos and Nachi cocum are popular all inclusive. We like to snorkel, so we usually take a $12 cab ride to the Money Bar and snorkel from the shore. They are very friendly, but it's nice to order something to eat or drink while there for using their shore. They have steps right down to the water, since its rocky. There are ruins, jeep tours, culinary tours, etc... It's also safe to walk around San Juan and shop and eat.
