Balto. Guys Posted September 1, 2016 #1 Share Posted September 1, 2016 Anyone done their all inclusive beach day for $55 per? How was it and how much was a taxi to and from?
rch3 Posted September 1, 2016 #2 Share Posted September 1, 2016 Many (6) times and back again Sept. 28. Taxi was $16 for up to 4, each way. After a day at sea great laid back beach with terrific service. Food is very good (order off a menu.)

fam2cruise Posted September 2, 2016 #5 Share Posted September 2, 2016 We've been several times and love it, like a corona commercial! They have great guacamole and food is good in general. Drinks and service are amazing! We usually pay $20 each way for taxi+tip.
siestakeys04 Posted September 2, 2016 #6 Share Posted September 2, 2016 My family enjoyed it. The food was good it was quiet and they only take 100 guest but it was not that many there when we went. texasgirl73 Posted September 2, 2016 #7 Share Posted September 2, 2016 I have done it twice. Once with kids, once as a couple. Enjoyed it both times. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
Cousin Eddie Posted September 2, 2016 #8 Share Posted September 2, 2016 Did it once several years ago. I loved it for the price. I thought it was comparable to other AIs I have done day passes at. The rest of my group did not like it. The beer and liquor selection was limited and the food was a seated lunch from a menu of authentic Mexican food. I was pleased with it. I thought the quiet atmosphere was great. The rest of my group still speaks poorly of that excursion, although they loved the Dreams resort in DR that costs more and is more crowded but had a wider selection of drinks. To each their own I guess, but I really am not that hard to please, and I really enjoyed the day at Nachi Cocum. JohninDC Posted September 2, 2016 #9 Share Posted September 2, 2016 Often suggested on this board - use the search function and you will pull up dozens of threads discussing Nachi. We love it - quiet, not crowded, and great service.
JuliaMS Posted September 2, 2016 #10 Share Posted September 2, 2016 It the package is all-inclusive and the food is all you can eat why do the menus have prices?
JuliaMS Posted September 2, 2016 #11 Share Posted September 2, 2016 The beer and liquor selection was limited What kind of selection did they have? Were there a couple beers? Were the Margaritas good?
JohninDC Posted September 2, 2016 #12 Share Posted September 2, 2016 What kind of selection did they have? Were there a couple beers? Were the Margaritas good? Not sure about the prices on the menu -might be for some special event/reception. $55 gets you unlimited drinks plus a 4-course meal (we've never made it to dessert. Chips and guac are great, all of the frozen drinks are great (start off with the Dirty Monkey first thing in the morning ;)) as well as a selection of Mexican beers or sodas/bottled water. Great service and no crowds. :D
c-leg5 Posted September 2, 2016 #13 Share Posted September 2, 2016 (edited) It the package is all-inclusive and the food is all you can eat why do the menus have prices? The beach club is "the beach location" for some of the in-town hotels. They have an arrangement - I think it was/is owned by the hotels. I don't think the guests need to buy an AI pass but can purchase per item. Edited September 2, 2016 by c-leg5
Cousin Eddie Posted September 3, 2016 #14 Share Posted September 3, 2016 What kind of selection did they have? Were there a couple beers? Were the Margaritas good? This is what they had when we were there. This was five or six years ago, so there have probably been some changes by now.
