WatchHill Posted September 2, 2016 #3 Share Posted September 2, 2016 We always book with Enterprise, picking up and returning the car at FLL. Since Enterprise owns both Alamo and National, they should be included in the list of rental agencies providing shuttle access from the airport to PE. Simply show a copy of your rental agreement to the shuttle driver and board the vehicle. We've done this twice a year for the past 5 years without any problem. Lido_Deck Posted September 2, 2016 #4 Share Posted September 2, 2016 I find the Budget shuttle to their close-by 17th Street Causeway location is quick and easy.
3Shelaghs Posted September 3, 2016 #5 Share Posted September 3, 2016 Also need suggestions: Renting car from FLL airport, staying at hotel x 2 days, then need to return car and make our way to Port Everglades..... Should we rent and return car to airport and then take taxi to port? Or Should we rent from Budget at airport and return car to Budget car rental at 17th street? Do they have a shuttle to port, if so how do we arrange? Or can they call us a taxi? Anyone have any experience with this?

I would return it to the 17th Street location....they have a comp shuttle that will take you to PE...no need to do anything other than tell them at the counter you need the shuttle when (as) you return the car. Rare MVPinBoynton Posted September 7, 2016 #7 Share Posted September 7, 2016 We will be getting off the Silhouette at Port Everglades and picking up an Alamo car at the Ft. Lauderdale airport. Will the shuttles be at the port to pick up people on a regular schedule or will we need to call them to let them know that we need to be picked up? NSPenny Posted September 14, 2016 #10 Share Posted September 14, 2016 The shuttles are there to pick up and drop off to the airport. If you are only 2 people travelling, I would opt for a taxi to the airport. The line up and wait times for the shuttles when we were there are quite long and the airport is only a quick ride.
