Fastdak25 Posted September 22, 2016 #1 Share Posted September 22, 2016 (edited) Only just hit me that the sailing date I am looking at is going to include Halloween on the 2nd day, an at sea day. Will there be good activities/parties for adults? Not going to have any kids, just going to be myself. Never done a holiday on an RCI ship, though Quantum was decorated nicely for Xmas in '14 when I sailed on her the week before Xmas. RCI Platinum member. KansasK Posted September 22, 2016 #2 Share Posted September 22, 2016 I think most ships celebrate Halloween in some way. I don't know about the Allure, but the Navigator invited passengers to learn the Thriller dance and they danced down the promenade on Halloween night in costume. There were a lot of people in costume that night. It was fun. People also decorated their doors. Not everyone, but we saw a number of doors decorated. The ship was also decorated. Fastdak25 Posted September 22, 2016 Author #5 Share Posted September 22, 2016 December  ya, there were 3 days they had passengers come down to that two-story music hall room (the one converted to more casino space before going to China) to learn parts of the Thriller dance, then on the last day they had everyone showcase the dance to the audience
Megs867 Posted September 22, 2016 #6 Share Posted September 22, 2016 There was a big parade (dressed up guests) on Independence last year. Sent from my iPhone using Forums

Come and join us on the Freedom of the Seas on October 30th for Halloween! Past Halloween cruises on Freedom have been a blast, so looking forward to this one! Go to the cruise reviews and you can probably find out a lot there about some of the parties and activities with pics of people in costumes.;) There is most likely something on U-tube as well. Whichever ship you choose, have a Happy Halloween!!!:D
Desert Cruizers Posted September 22, 2016 #8 Share Posted September 22, 2016 We did Halloween on the Liberty a few years ago and everyone paraded down the Royal Promenade, it was fun, during our Serenade cruise last Oct, we all met around the pool and paraded around. Lots of fun seeing all the costumes people come up with.

Was also looking at Liberty for a cruise but the price for a balcony room would cost me more than the cost of a balcony and air fare on Allure. I have done only one Halloween on Majesty, the ship was decorated and they did have a costume dance party in the centrum till about 1am. We were Key West that day and many people wore costumes into town.
Little Buddy's Mom Posted September 22, 2016 #11 Share Posted September 22, 2016 We were on the Allure TA last year on Halloween. They did have a parade but there was such a crowd we gave up on seeing it. It was not well organized at all and the people dressed in custumes and trying to march became part of the crowd. We've been on other ships, at Halloween and the parade was handled much better.
sealeggs Posted September 23, 2016 #12 Share Posted September 23, 2016 Two years ago on Liberty Of The Seas TA, they had a parade for the passangers and handed out prizes for the top 3 and our son and daughter in law along with our grandson came in first. We had a great time and the club turned into a haunted house to go through.

We had a great time and the club turned into a haunted house to go through. We were on Allure for Halloween in 2013. They did the kids and then the adults costume parade on the promenade. All 5500 passengers (minus one) were there. It was the only time Allure felt crowded. My DW stayed in the empty casino and was perfectly happy. Rare JamesEM Posted September 24, 2016 #14 Share Posted September 24, 2016 When DW and I cruised on the Allure a few years ago the ship offered a pub crawl that drew an over flow crowd.
